Welcoming the Sane and the Safe...

...and possibly even avoiding the Maudlin!

Today I started some spring cleaning (despite the fact that it randomly started snowing this morning).  I had the urge to really scrub inside cupboards and sanitize my venetian blinds but I held myself back since I'm very probably moving in the near future and will get things like that done while I'm packing.

That's right, I may be moving into the countryside of Central Alberta!  I'm not sure where yet (depends on where my sister buys her property), but I'm completely stoked.  Hurray for the fun things to come:

- a car of my very own!
- a home with added distance between me and my parents!
- the cheapest rent ever, hurray!
- MONEY (see above)!

Right on!  This weekend I may be learning (from my big brother) how to drive a standard AND meeting up with a friend to do crafty goodness at her apartment.  She's gonna teach me some new knitting stuff, I think, so that means I'm really going to be a student this weekend.
